I wake up with a fresh perspective. It seems that all of the people of New York and all of the birds and the whole sky and the wind are experiencing the new year together. The ground rises up to support me, the wind kisses my cheeks, the colorful houses of Bushwick are somehow brighter.

Kelley is in New York. Tomorrow, I fly back to Chicago. I want to be more like my plants.

Wild ride, this past month. Sunday Morning on a Sunday morning and I quit my job. A life committed to adventure. High risk, high reward, baby. The lows are really low. Vulnerable, uncertain, free.
